About the event
Christians around the world gather on Ash Wednesday to acknowledge our mortality and to name the sin and brokenness in our own lives and in the life of the world, as we begin the holy season of Lent. We will have services at Noon and at 6 p.m, with distribution of Ashes and Holy Eucharist. You may also receive ashes or take them to share with others as follows:
* Take home some Ashes on "Fat Sunday" to share with those in your household (prayers for sharing ashes will also be provided)
* Come by the Labyrinth on Ash Wednesday between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m.
* Ask someone who is attending an Ash Wednesday service to bring you ashes
