"Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts."
“Those who sing, pray twice” - St. Augustine
The Chancel Choir is our adult and youth ensemble at Epiphany. We rehearse on Thursdays at 7:30 PM in the church and sing on Sunday mornings at the 10 AM service, September through early June. Other special services often include music - at Evensongs, Celtic services, Lessons and Carols, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter services.
Our music making encompasses a wide range of styles, from early Renaissance to modern gospel and jazz settings to the chants of Taize.
The choir is a friendly group of long-standing - and new - friends. We are blessed to also have several music students from San Jose State State University join our choir during the year.
We gladly welcome adult singers of all ages (beginning at approximately 14 years of age). For more information, please contact our Director of Music, Mr. Matthew Goulart at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition to our Chancel Choir, several parishioners share their musical gifts (vocal and instrumental) with the congregation during the summer months. Smaller ensemble groups also participate in worship throughout the year.
We also enjoy occasional offerings from our Children’s Choir. For information about music programs for children, please contact Mr. Sean Fullerton, our Associate Music Minister at email@example.com.
