Children and Youth

Young people are most welcome at Epiphany, both in worship and in our programs for children and youth.  From birth to the age of 18, we have fun opportunities that nurture spiritual growth.

Nursery Care is available for infants and toddlers on Sundays from 9am through the end of the 10 am service and for special events.

Church School  for children 4 years old to 12th  grade takes place during the 10 am service on Sundays.  The Church School curriculum is the wonder-filled stories of Godly Play.

Children in Grades PreK- 3 enjoy our popular Godly Play experience. Children in Godly Play interact with the key narratives of the Bible in vivid story and interactive three-dimensional lessons.

More mature grade school youth enjoy our Seasons of the Spirit curriculum, this class begins to ask questions and discuss the bible, society, and self.

6th and 7th graders may join a new second class of our two-year R13 program.  R13 (Rite13) is the first step in an educational and community effort to prepare our youth for Adulthood.  This program culminates in the celebration of maturity known as the R13 Eucharist.

For Students in 8-12 grade, we continue the formation of our youth as they mature in the Journey to Adulthood (J2A) program.  In this companion to R13, students continue another two-year cycle including preparation for confirmation.  While some exceptions are made, youth who wish to be confirmed should participate in the J2A program.  So come and enjoy the fun.

Seekers Youth Group for middle school and high school students meets on Sunday nights for food, fun and games, and spiritual reflection.

Journey to Adulthood is a youth program that happens every other year and culminates in confirmation.
